Incompetent Government, Inept Opposition - May 20206
How long do you reckon before this inept Labor government collapses under the weight of its own incompetence and failures? Reckon they make it to the next election in two years?
And I thought the Rudd, Gillard, Turnbull and Morrison governments were bad! (and they were).
The recent budget from Dr Chalmers was initially met with distrust and contempt, but as more of us look deeper into the numbers, more people are realising just how reckless and stupid this government really is.
A projected $31.5 billion deficit. Nearly $1 trillion in debt. That's $1,000,000,000,000.
This government is addicted to spending money we don’t have, and spending it on things that create very little productivity, little growth, and little long-term wealth for ordinary Australians.
How long do you reckon before Mr Albanese throws Mr Chalmers under the bus in a desperate attempt to shield himself from the consequences of this mess? Surely the knives must be out.
How long can the poor, the middle class, and working Australians continue carrying the burden of crippling taxation, rising costs, and policies that punish aspiration, investment, and wealth creation?
History shows us that when governments prioritise ideology over economics, it’s ordinary people who pay the price.
And this lack of control, this lack of responsibility, must also be shared by the Opposition, who refuse to oppose, refuse to argue, refuse to stand up, and refuse to risk offending anyone. Through weakness and inaction, the Liberal and National parties have allowed this poison to spread through every organ of government and bureaucracy.
Some people learn by observing, thinking and acting early. Others only learn through experiencing real pain. I fear Australia’s pain is only just beginning. It can get worse.
We need leaders focused on productivity, responsibility, opportunity, and national strength. More vision and less ideology, please.
And sooner rather than later, we need to get rid of the Albanese government.
The above is a copy of a FaceBook post that I made on 25th May 2026. It had 54k views, 2.3k reactions (likes), 910 comments and 280 shares. Probably not big numbers in the scheme of things but nothing like I have experienced before.
Interestingly, FaceBook flagged the post as AI generated, which is untrue of course. However, the photo used and displayed here is AI generated and that may be what triggered the AI flag.
