The Albanese Government, while everyone is distracted by the "Voice" debate and upwardly-spiraling cost of living , is attempting to silence the voices and quash the opinions of everyday Australians like you and me. Their plan is to create an Orwellian-style "Ministry Of Truth" within the Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA). This new legislation will enable ACMA to force the removal of posts (such as those on FaceBook, Twitter etc) Youtube video posts, Podcasts, or even personal blogs (like this one) if the post/article opposes or questions the established Government narrative. Basically, this bill gives government the power to sensor information that it doesn't want online.  It sounds like I'm being hyperbolic, but bear with me, because I regard this to be the greatest threat to our nation right now. I really don't know what to make of  "The Voice".  I wanted to know more about what the actual proposal is, but factual information is distinctly lacking. "The Voice" is a measure proposed by the "Uluru Statement from the Heart", but an investigation of the statement  web page reveals nothing in the way of mechanicals, schematics, or indeed any any information on what The Voice might look like or how it will work. Some vague information has been offered by Prime Minister Albanese, but again, this information has been unclear on concept, yet alone details.  I have no doubt that Mr Albanese and his Government are well-intentioned, and I truly believe that all Australians despair at the plight of our remote Aboriginal Communities in particular. Mr Albanese and a plethora of talking heads have indicated that The Voice is a step towards true reconciliation, justice, and improved life outcomes for those in the communities. On the 29th of April I published here a post about a friend who's life was destroyed partly due to an uncaring and sensationalising media. As I wrote more and as the story developed, the post became more about the friend, who's recent passing was (and is) still fresh in my mind, rather than the media itself. Recently, I was contacted by a mutual friend who asked me to take the post down, for several personal reasons that are poignant and sincere. If you have come to this page to read the article in question, I apologise that it is no longer available. So the 2023 NSW State Election has been run and won by the Labor Party. The Liberal Party got the result that they deserved. They have continued to take their grassroots membership and followers for granted. They have continued to ignore  their own stated beliefs  despite several successive election losses. Back in August 2022 I wrote of my despair and concerns about the direction (or lack thereof) of the Liberal party.    Then, it became blatantly obvious to me last year when I attended the 2022 CPAC conference  that the Liberal party leadership were incapable if looking inward, unwilling to listen to their constituents, and unwilling to see past their own noses. Certainly, nothing has changed within the Liberal Party of Australia. So on election day, I found myself out the front of our small-town's polling place handing out how-to-vote cards for One Nation.  I want to talk about the Covid “Vaccinations”. Or, as I prefer to call it, “Jabs”. Because the elixir being injected into people is not a vaccine- it offers no immunity, no impediment to transmission, and the narrative around it reducing severe illness is also crumbling. When it comes to the Covid Jabs, the world seems to see people in one of two categories: Jabbed or Unjabbed. However, personally, I see three distinct categories.  1- the Willing and Grateful. (Or WaGs) 2- The Reluctant and Coerced. (RaCs) 3- The Courageous and Defiant. (CaDs) 1- The Willing and Grateful. (WaGs). This group of people bought into the narrative very early in the Covid pandemic, and truly believed (I guess we all initially did) that a vaccine was the only way to reverse the freedoms and liberties that had been egregiously stripped from us in the way of lockdowns, impulsive draconian laws, brutal police enforcement, unfair travel restrictions, Orwellian speech and thought restrictions, wholesale ...

In the 1930’s the genius ideology that is Stalinism embarked upon the collectivisation of farms in the Soviet Union. What this meant was that the Government took control of the farms by seizing the land, equipment, livestock and dwellings. Farmers were given the opportunity to stay as an employee, and those that that resisted the seizure of their farms, by physical defiance, or even by simply writing a letter of protest to the Government, were murdered, or bundled up and sent to Serbia where death was a welcome reprieve from their suffering. Of course, no Government can farm as well as a farmer can. The collectivisation program led to several famines and the death of something like ten million (10,000,000) people within just a couple of decades. Even as late as the 1980’s Soviet farmers struggled to achieve the production levels of competing neighbouring countries.   On the October long weekend this year (2022) I attended the Australian CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) event in Sydney. The ticket to the event was given to me as a gift from my loving and outstanding adult children. Previously, I had toyed with the idea of attending CPAC, but decided against due to budgetary constraints. I have attended a few conference-style meetings over the years for the purposes of business, sales, personal development and workplace training. But other than a couple of small local meetings, this was to be my first political event, especially of this size and nature. Being someone who isn’t that “outgoing”, I was quite anxious about attending such an event on my own. But my misgivings were quashed as soon as I arrived at the venue in Darling Harbour.
